• Organized and strengthened the capacities of local risk committees in the municipalities of Santa Cruz, San Pablo and San Marcos to respond rapidly to any emergency
• Created youth response corps 
• Installed disaster warning systems in three municipalities 
• Built terraces to prevent soil run-off and landslides

Response to Tropical Storm Agatha

• Determined crop damage caused by the rains
• Generated maps to help municipalities manage resources for conservation and to foment economic recovery in the region
