Ser el referente latinoamericano que genera herramientas para alcanzar la resiliencia comunitaria y adaptación al cambio global, por medio de un equipo intercultural y multidisciplinario que promueve opciones productivas innovadoras, propicia el desarrollo del conocimiento tradicional, construye el sincretismo tecnológico fomentando la investigación, fortalece el tejido social y la simbiosis ambiental.
Mission
To become the Latin-American reference point that generates tools to reach community resilience and adaptation to global change, through an intercultural and interdisciplinary team that creates innovative productive alternatives, endorses traditional knowledge, builds technological syncretism through research, strengthens the social fabric and promotes environmental symbiosis.
Visión
Impulsar el cambio de vida hacia una relación simbiótica con el planeta desarrollando medios de vida sustentables que incorporen la revalorización del conocimiento ancestral de los pueblos mesoamericanos, los servicios ambientales y el uso de energías renovables para facilitar la resiliencia adaptativa al cambio global.
Vision
To promote the shift towards a symbiotic relationship with our planet, developing sustainable livelihoods that incorporate the cultural heritage of Mesoamerican peoples, environmental services valuation, and the use of renewable energy, to reach adaptive resilience in facing global change.
